ibird
ibird is a company I helped create and still am a part of. ibird is a video service for comedy or music clubs. We offer hundreds of teaser videos of artists that can easily be embedded in existing websites. ibird enhances traditional event advertising on the web that relies heavy on text and still images at a very affordable price.
FrOSCon
The Free and Open Source Software Conference, or short: FrOSCon, is a two day conference held anually at the University of applied sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. I have been the principal organizer since the very first edition of FrOSCon in 2006. In only three years we managed to become one of the most important open source events in Germany, also attracting many participants from all over Europe (and some from North America and Asia as well).

Geekladen
Geekladen is a side project that some friends and I created when we assessed that there were no cool geek and nerd shirts available in Germany. Through some original designs we managed to grow the number of designs and the stock without any noteworthy up-front investment. Because of other projects, Geekladen lay dormant for some time, but will soon enough gain some traction again. Stay tuned.

pbr systems
I founded pbr systems with two colleagues in 2005. Being a software consultancy specialized on web development we had quite some success building both large scale customer facing web applications as well as internal business applications. Though I quit the company in 2009 I hope it will continue to flourish. If you are looking for development power, please consider contacting pbr systems.
